The highly anticipated Satyug Sangeet Utsav 2024 was organised in Jammu today, it was a promising an exceptional celebration of classical music and cultural excellence. This renowned event, now in its 17th year, brings together a diverse ensemble of celebrated musicians, dancers, and performers from across India, offering an immersive experience for music lovers and cultural enthusiasts.Organized by Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra, Affiliated to Prayag Sangeet Samiti , Prayagraj collaboration with International Daily Rising School, Jammu, over 400 Students from 18 Schools participated in the Competition, showcasing their talent in a series of mesmerizing performances like Dance, Music, Nukkar Natak and Rangoli Competition, aimed at fostering greater appreciation and understanding of India’s rich classical traditions. The event showcased a mix of Hindustani classical music, blending vocal, instrumental, and dance performances across multiple venues in the city.
The Utsav 2024 was aimed to connect people from all walks of life with the beauty of Indian classical music and arts. Through the Utsav, the Kendra seeks to bring together artists, enthusiasts, and cultural custodians to create an environment that encourages dialogue, learning, and mutual respect for India’s classical art forms.
The smooth coordination and attention to detail truly showcased the school’s spirit and commitment to excellence.The Chief Guest of the event was Mr. Satish Sharma Cabinet Minister, J&K Government, Guest of honour Dr Atul Hans Director Academics International Daily Rising School Jammu, Mr Sham Chaudhary (Former Minister), Vice President BJP, J&K (UT), Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik HOD Urdu, University of Jammu & Mr Deependra kant Principal of Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra.
