2nd session of POSHAN Project training for Anganwadi Workers commences in Reasi

The second session of the three-day training program for Anganwadi workers under the POSHAN Project commenced today here at the Government Polytechnic College, Reasi.
The training, scheduled from December 16 to 18, was inaugurated by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Sukhdev Singh Samyal in the presence of District Program Officer (DPO) POSHAN Mohammad Anwar Banday and CDPO Suninderjeet Kour.
ADDC Reasi Sukhdev Singh Samyal, while addressing the participants, emphasized the significance of the initiative in equipping Anganwadi workers with the latest trends and techniques to enhance the effectiveness of the centers. As part of the program, curriculum books NAVchetna and Adharshilla were distributed among the Anganwadi workers, while a detailed orientation was provided to the Sanginis
DPO Mohammad Anwar Banday also highlighted the importance of capacity building for Anganwadi workers, underscoring their crucial role in achieving the objectives of the POSHAN Abhiyaan. The training program aims to empower the participants with knowledge and skills essential for addressing nutritional and developmental needs at the grassroots level.
