Three days Sudhmahdev Sanskriti Mahotsav organized by ,Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan, at Sudhmahadev in close coordination with the Govt. higher Secondary School,Sudhmahdev, Government Girls High School,Chenani , Department of Education, J&K Govt. & JK Dharmarth Trust Sudhmahadev concluded today at sudhmahdev. The Program was presented under the aegis of Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India under the scheme Cultural function and production grant. Sh.O.P.Singh , Assistant Commandant 187- CRPF , Batalian was the Chief Guest on the occasion and lighted the traditional lamp today at main stage ,Chaougan ,sudhmahdev ,on concluding function along with the Vice Principal , HSS. Vidya Sagar ,Ashol Kumar ,Headmaster,Chenani, Suraj Parkash, Social Activist were the Guest of Honour. The program was commenced with Sarastwati Vandana , after lighting Traditional Lamp and presented Light classical Dance Om Sankalpamastu ,3 Sanskrit Shalok from Yazurveda (Manch Pooja).The Programme was presented through the trainees / traditional artistes were the special highlights and attraction of the programmes which was presented under the direction of M.L.Dogra, Chairman, BLSKS & conducted by Sh. Yash Pal Yash , Renowed writer Music Director of the state . Welcoming the dignitaries and pilgrimages Sh.M.L. Dogra,Former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division ,Government of India ,informed the aims & objectives of the programme, promotion of Duggar Culture & aware the masses about prevention from “Covid -19″( DO GAJ KI DURI BADI ZAROORI) “Swatch Bharat” and “Beti Bachao Beti Padao”, in far flung area of Jammu Province . Mask were also distributed among the pilgrims of adjoining area of sudhmahadev and presented the folk form of Duggar Pradesh, Gitru , Kalaye Kanwan , Mero Rumal (Kududu) , Taren Tudan Piayn , Jagarna , o-jija kiya jana udhampura , bakh, etc ). Dogra also said the story of Sudhmahadev, a popular legend associated with this shrine is as, once, when Goddess Parvati was in deep prayer, a demon called Sudheet came to pay his respectful obeisance. But his demonic look frightened the Goddess and she made a loud shriek. Her cry revered acted across the mountains surrounding the valley. Lord Shiva was disturbed by the sound. When He opened his eyes, He saw the demon, at whom he hurled His invincible Trident (Holy Trishul). More than 5 thousand Senior Pandits of Dharamth Trust, Prominent dignitaries , devotees,Vilagers,Official staff ,School Childrens ,Panch Sarpanchwitnessed the programs. During the festival Blsks presented Mega 3 programs at Govt Hr. Sec School, Sudhmahadev & Govt Girls High school, Chenani ant Chaugan , Sudhmahdev.
60 artistes from different places of Jammu province three 3 programmes during the festival and more than 2000 people witnessed. Moreover folk cultural performance of Geetru by M/S Ram Ditta and Party ,Kudru by Sangam Tru Art Production, Dandars by Deepak Kumar and Party, and Karkan by Sarswati Sangeet Kala and Party ,Baran by Ali Mohd. and Party Bakh by Nazir Mohd. Party and Raju Bajgal and Party ,J.R.Jakson and Party. Sh. K.k.Joshi , vice chairman presented the vote of thanks on concluded of the function of O.P.Singh , Assistant Commandant 187- CRPF , Batalian, Mr. Kahjuria , Principal HSS , Balram Sharma, Inspector, Om Parkash, PDD Sudhmahadev.
