3 dead, 10 injured in road accident in Chamba

Dharamshala, June 6 :

Three persons, including two women, were killed on the spot and ten others were injured, some of them seriously, when a Tata Sumo rolled down a hill on Rakh Bagga Bindla Samra Road in Chamba district on Thursday morning, police said.
Police sources told UNI here that there were thirteen people on board when the accident took place today.
Two people, including a woman and a youth, died on the spot, and another injured woman succumbed to her injuries on the way to the hospital.
The ill dates A Tata Sumo with registration number HP01C 0871 was coming from Samra to Rakh, and there were 13 passengers traveling in the vehicle when the accident took place. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the police also reached the spot, and the causes of the accident were being investigated.
The Tata Sumo rolled down a hill on Rakh Bindla Samra Road in Gurad Gram Panchayat of Chamba district in Himachal Pradesh. Ambulances reached the spot, and about ten people injured in the accident were rushed to Govt. Medical College Chamba for treatment, the condition of many of whom is said to be critical.
