Balvinder Singh Sambyal State Chief Congress Seva Dal J&K demanded for constituting a Kandi Development Board as per other Boards such as SC, BC, Kisan Development Board and Phari Speaking Language Board etc. While addressing to the media Mr B.S.Sambyal urged the state as well as central govt. to constitute Kandi Development Board (KDB). Whereas the govt. is only looking for selective category which is their vote bank.
The people are Kandi areas are being ignored in all fronts such as Agriculture, Youth Employment and financial assistance to farmers. The govt. always makes hollow slogan during the election and no care is taken after taking the office.
The govt. is always on deaf ears to hear their plights Mr B.S.Sambyal strongly demanded that govt. should give due attention towards the Kandi areas which is spread from partially part of Basholi to Sunderbani constituting of many constituency.
In these Kandi belt no compensation is given to draught hit or flood hit areas by which the farmers are mostly sufferer.
The areas which annually hit by natural calamities are Basholi, Dinga Amb, Jasrota, Samba Upper, Riya Suchani, Utter Beni, Purmandal, Nud, Sumbh, Dagote, Guraha Slathia, Upper Chawdhi, Nagrota, Kotebalwal, Raipur Domana, Mera Mandir, Chowki Chora, in short area mostly falling Upper Side of National Highway from Lakhanpur to Sunderwani is widely suffering since long due to negative policies of the govt. there is no road connectivity of kandi belt.
If any road has no block topping similar power supply very poor in kandi belt Mr. B.S. Sambyal appealed to state and centre govt. to direct the concerned department to conduct appropriate survey of these Kandi belt areas and constitute Kandi Development Board (KDB) at earliest. This will solve the problems of thousands of people in the field of their Self Employment and livelihood. Mr. B.S. Sambyal further said that sufficient funds and power should be given to the Kandi Development Board so that the management of the board can take appropriate steps for the development of Kandi people and unemployed youth.
Mr. B.S.Sambyal strongly stressed upon that the reservation given to the unemployed youth of Kandi areas irrespective of caste, creed or religion for employment. Mean while Mr. Ajay Kumar and Sunil Kumar Sharma has been nominated State Organizing Secretary and District Chief Samba respectively by the state chief Mr. B.S Sambyal those who present were Daljeet Singh, Vinay Mahajan, Smt. Rajni Sharma, Yashpal Singh, Pardeep Singh, Dalbir Singh, Sham Lal, Keshav, Amit, Sunil Dutt, Ram Dan.
