A press conference held at Gandhi Nagar Police Station here on Tuesday in connection of , recent theft and burglary cases in Jammu.
In order to curb the menace of theft/burglary in city South area of district Jammu special teams were constituted for apprehending the burglars and after hectic job four notorious burglars arrested namely Ravi Kumar son of Sham Lal resident of Akhnoor, Sunil Kumar son of Garib Dass resident of Resham Ghar colony, Davinder Singh son of Balkrishan resident of Ramban and Mohan Singh son of Balbir Singh resident of Reasi who during investigation confessed their involvement in number of burglary cases at Jammu city and also out skirts of Jammu, so for recovery has been recovered as 3 ladies gold rings,3 gents gold rings,1 gold kadda 1 gold bangle ,2 pairs of ear tops ,2 pairs of ear circles ,2 gold lockets,2 gold tikkas,1 gold nath 1 gold necklace and 1 gold mangal sutra.
It is pertinent to mentioned here that all the above mentioned accused persons are notorious burglars and involved in number of thefts. Ravi Kumar was recently released from custody after serving five years of imprisonment.
The arrests and recovery has been made by inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia, SI Nayat Ali, SHO Gangiyal Assisted by SI Kalicharan I/C PP Digyana and SI Sandeep CharakI/C PP Nehru Market under the supervision of SDPO City South rafdiq Manhas, SP City South Vinay Kumar and SSP Jammu, Vivek Gupta-IPS.
