Cooperative School of Education & Research Institute Limited, Deeli Jammu today celebrated 65th Cooperative Week on the theme “Cooperative for Youth, Women & Weaker sections”. Cooperative Public Schools organized a function at its Deeli branch, Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone (IAS) Secretary to Govt. Cooperative Dept., J&K was Chief guest whereas M.M. Reman Guasi (KAS) was guest of honour.
The function started with lighting of traditional lamp by the dignitaries, hoisting of national & Cooperative flags followed by National Anthem & welcome address of Sh. B.S. Manhas Advocate, President, C.S.E.&.R.I.Ltd., Jammu.
Chief guest, guest of honour, some dignitaries along with the Ex-Presidents and Secretaries of the Institute were honoured.
On the occasion, a colourful programme was presented by the students which started with Saraswati Vandana & included dances, skits and speeches on the theme. Allithe items were highly appreciated by the audience.
Other persons who graced the occasion were Sh. Savtenter Sharma , State Incharge IFFCO, J&K, Sh. Jatinder Bhat LIC, Sh. Vikrant Dogra representative of J&K Dairy Producers Processors & marketing Co-operative Union Ltd., Sh. Parveen Sharma, Chairman & Sh. Ashok Goswami, Managing Director, of Citizen Co-operative Bank Ltd., Managing Director of J&K Co-operative Housing Corporation.
The programme was witnessed by a number of students, parents and staff , culminated with vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Veenu Prabhakar, Principal, Cooperative Public Schools.
