At least seven persons were injured in a road accident at Garkote village in Uri town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports said that a passenger sumo bearing registration number no JK11 2844 on way to Uri town turned turtle in Garkote village near Magray Mode area when the driver lost control over it while negotiating a curve, resulting into injuries to seven passengers.

Reports said that all injured were rushed to local hospital for advanced treatment.

Meanwhile Hospital authorities identified all injured as Noor Mohammad Dader (65) son of Noor Din Dader, Zahoor Ahmed Naik (25) son of Abdul Rashid Naik, Naseer Ahmed Malik(26) son of Abdul Aziz Malik, Shafiq Ahmed Mughal (30) son of Mohammad Rafiq Mughal , Basharat Ahmed Chach (20) son of Abdul Rashid Chach , Naseera Akhter (16) daughter of Mohammad Din Chachi and Mugli Begum (60) wife of Mohammad Din Chachi.

Police team reached the spot and rescued the injured passengers
