Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva has emerged as a major winner at the 70th National Awards, announced on Friday. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Amitabh Bachchan, the sci-fi epic took home accolades in several categories. The film won Best Male Playback Singer for Arijit Singh’s track ‘Kesariya,’ Best Film in AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects Gaming and Comic), and Best VFX Film. The awards were presented by a distinguished jury, including Rahul Rawail, Chairperson of the Feature Film Jury, Nila Madhab Panda, Chairperson of the Non-Feature Film Jury, and Gangadhar Mudalair, Chairperson of the Best Writing on Cinema Jury.Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva is the first part in his trilogy. Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni also star in the film. Fans and critics alike liked the film. The developers are currently working on the next two portions: Brahmastra Part 2 in 2026 and Brahmastra Part 3 in 2007.Meanwhile, Gulmohar has also garnered acclaim at the 70th National Awards, securing the prestigious award for Best Hindi Film.
