A training workshop on 7th Economic Census was held here today for supervisors by the experts of CSC-SPV under the aegis of National Sample Survey Organization (NSSO), Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation.
The event was organised under the supervision of Additional District Development Commissioner, Arvind Kotwal. Senior Statistical Officer, R.K. Sharma, Observer from NSSO deliberated in length and breadth on the proposed Census process.
The objective of the training was to train the Master Trainers (Enumerators and Supervisors) engaged in Seventh Economic Census (7th EC). The participants were trained on key concepts and definitions, processes, digital platform and application to be used for enumeration in the field.
Chief Planning Officer, Sukhleen Kaur, District Statistics & Evaluation Officer, Goutam Lal Sharma, besides other concerned officers and trainees were also present on the occasion.
