In a condolence meeting held at J&K RSS headquarter, rich tributes were paid to Late Sh Bhagwat Swroop ji, a vetern RSS Prachark who breathed his last a few days back at Delhi at the age of 95.
Sh Rameshwar Ji Utter Khaitriya(North India) Prachark Pramukh RSS while remembering selfless service of Sh Bhagwat Swroop Ji hailed his contribution towards nation and society. A true nationalist Bhagwat Swroop ji was an inspiration for the society in general and for RSS workers in particular.
Brig. Suchait Singh Prant Sanghchalk Jammu Kashmir while paying tributes said that Bhagwat Swroop Ji rendered 75 years of his services to this state in many capacities as RSS Prachark. His simple life, dedication and hard work influenced especially the new generation in choosing the path to follow the national building ideology in a true siprit. He played a pivotal role in nourishing Sangh working at grass root level in Kashmir as well. Shri Bhagwat Ji was one among the founder members of Praja Parished Movement and also served as State Genral Secretry (Org) BJP for many years. He was jailed during the period of 1952-1953 when suppression on nationalist’s people in the state was at its peak. While remembering selfless service of Bhagwat Swroop Ji, the others who paid tributes on the occasion were Jugal Kishore MP, Justice G.D. Sharma, Master Ram Lal (Bharteey Shiksha Samiti), Sardar Ravinder Lakshaman BMS , Dr. Gaotam Mengi, Ashok Braroo, Dinesh Khanna , Shri Kashmiri lal Bhat and Shri Satyapal ji senior karikarta and Prant Kariwah Parshotm Dadeechi.
Many prominent social activists and workers of RSS were present on the occasion.
