All artist’s welfare association, Jammu, today organized a Book and CD release function here at K.L Saigal, Cultural academy , Jammu .
On this occasion Dr. Gagan Bhagat , MLA , R.S Pura constituency was the chief Guest while Rajesh Gupta MLA Jammu East was the special guest.
Sohail Kazmi , Senior correspondent presided over, Danesh Rana , IGP , Jammu was the guest of honor while Smt. Rajni Sharma , Senior leader PDP was the special guest .
A book namely ‘Housla’in Hindi language reflects the various shades of life especially on youth’s desire, pain and love written by the young auther Vinod Lalotra Katib and the audio CD consisting of 8 songs by Poonam Lalotra sister of Ashok Lalotra and including one song by Dr. Kamal Sharma, and its music composed by paramjeet singh Titto released on this occasion by the chief guest and other dignitaries.
Dr. Baljeet raina noted Punjabi and Hindi writer, Sh. Sham Talib noted Urdu poet Dr. Sudhir Mahajan , prominent Theatre and Music activist presented a brief paper on the book and expressed their views on the CD release here today.
The function was attended by the galaxy of social, cultural activists , writer , artists and the members of the civil society .
Earlier Dr. Sudhir Mahajan welcomed the guests and also aware about the activities to be taken in near future by the Aawaj , while vote of thanks presented by Dr. Kamal Sharma , President AAWAJ.
