The Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaishik Mahasangh (ABRSM) District Unit Jammu held a significant meeting with the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Jammu, during which they presented a calendar of the forum as a token of respect and discussed various pressing issues concerning the teaching fraternity.
During the interaction, the representatives of ABRSM highlighted several key concerns faced by teachers in the district, emphasizing the need for timely resolutions to enhance the educational ecosystem.
The discussion also focused on the ongoing process of the Annual Transfer Drive (ATD).
The CEO Jammu provided an important update, informing the delegation that a tentative list of approximately 1,800 teachers is scheduled to be released in March, followed by the final ATD list thereafter.
The ABRSM delegation expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the education department in streamlining the transfer process and ensuring transparency. They also reiterated their commitment to working collaboratively with the administration for the betterment of the teaching community.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both parties reaffirming their dedication to addressing the concerns of educators and improving the overall education system in Jammu.
