Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh Jammu and Kashmir held it State Executive Meet at Mantalai in Udhampur under the Presidentship of Rattan Sharma.In his address in a State Executive Meeting held at Mantalai in Udhampur, he vehemently demanded a comprehensive review of the Annual Transfer Drive’s Zonation criteria. They stressed the need to facilitate transfers for teachers who have been working in remote areas for over five years, allowing them to be posted at more suitable locations. Additionally, the timely implementation of the Transfer Drive before July was strongly advocated.
He strongly demanded conduct of DPC’S and release of promotion lists for Teacher’s, Masters, Lecturers, ZEOs, Headmasters, and Principals, as well as the issue of transferring ‘Rehber-e-Taleem’ teachers, were among the other pressing concerns raised by the teaching fraternity. He also shed light on the steps taken by ABRSM’s JK UT unit to mitigate genuine issues faced by teachers. He discussed the points raised in memorandums submitted to the Secretary of School Education and the Director of School Education in Jammu from time to time. Both the UT President and Secretary assured teachers that they would soon meet with the Commissioner Secretary and the Director to address their genuine concerns.
Moreover,in a major outreach to the teaching community in Jammu and Kashmir, a high-level delegation from the Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) undertook an extensive four day tour. The team, comprising National Organizing Secretary Mahendra Kapoor, Jammu & Kashmir UT President Ratan Sharma and UT General Secretary Gulshan Raina, met with numerous teachers under the presidentship of Rattan Sharma to discuss pressing educational issues. Addressing the teachers at several places, Mahendra Kapoor highlighted that ABRSM is India’s largest teachers’ organization, boasting over 18 lakh members across schools and higher educational Institutions across Bharat. He elaborated on several issues where ABRSM’s intervention has successfully resolved problems and urged teachers to be role models for students, spearheading reformation in their schools under the ‘Mera Vidyalaya Mera Teerth’ initiative.
Several meetings were organized in Poonch, Jaran Wali Gali, Pouni, Sundarbani, Reasi, Udhampur and Jammu facilitating open discussions and fostering a collaborative approach to resolving educational challenges in the region.
National Media Incharge Darshan Kumar and Dev Raj Thakur ( National Internal auditor and Higher Education wing Prabhari J&K also accompanied the leaders and met with numerous teachers to discuss pressing educational issues.
