A delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad Central University of Jammu met vice chancellor of the University on several issues of the University
A delegation of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) central university of Jammu today met Vice-Chancellor of the University , Prof Ashok Aima and holded detailed discussions on sevral matters of important concern including senstive Anti National incident happened in the CUJ campus on (22/11/2016).
ABVP delegation demanded that findings of the committee, report on antinational issue (planned disrespect to Tiranga & other higher offices of the country) should be made public ,the ABVP members informed the CUJ administration that any type of laxity in punishing the culprits will violate the peacefull atmosphere of CU .
They also apprised CUJ administration about antinational sleeper cell working in campus from last 3years and suggested for immediate corrective measures .VC asked for a week time in this regard.
Second important concern raised in the meet was of safety and security of girl students coming from farflung areas of Jammu Division.
Abvp activists demanded bus service to nearest routes like samba, Kathua etc to which VC agreed on half fare basis.
The ABVP delegation comprised J&K state Joint Secretary ABVP. Mustafa Ali J&K central universities incharge K. Sai Ram,senior research scholars Neeraj Dhiman,Ramji ,President CUJ ABVP, Vikram singh Jamwal, Secretary Sahil Padha , Vice president Anubhav, UG in-charge Akriti,Rohit Research scholars: Media Incharge Amit, Executive member Anuj were present.
