Scores of students from different Campuses of Jammu under the banner of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad(ABVP) today held Mahadharna at Hari Singh Statue, Tawi Pull, Jammu demanding CBI inquiry in Murder case of Rajesh Sarkar and Tapas Barman, who were killed by West Bengal Police on 19 September 2018 when they were protesting demanding the Bengali Language Teacher in Darivit High School in Islampur district of West Bengal.
ABVP Jammu Mahanagar Secretary Kunal Sadotra, while addressing the media said that the West Bengal Govt led by Mamta Banerjee is responsible for the murder of these students as there is no action on culprits till now. ABVP also demands Citizenship for Refugees from Bangla desh, Immediate Pass of Citizenship(Amendment) Bill 2016 in the Rajya Sabha and Immediate deport of illegal immigrants to their respective countries, Kunal. ABVP also submitted a Memorandum to Honb’le President of India through Additional Deputy Commisioner Jammu. Kunal also said that Students from all the states of the nation are today gathered at Kolkata and are protesting against the state govt of West Bengal by taking out a rally there. TrinMool Congress(TMC) Govt is unable to provide security to the people of the state who had elected them in elections, and also TMC had played a very negative role in Panchayat Elections when the Gunda Leaders of TMC won elections unopposed by threatening the other leaders, he said.
