As part of the weekly Block Divas, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Samba, Suram Chand Sharma conducted a hectic tour of far off areas of Sumb Block and listened to the public grievances at Panchayat Goran. He directed the concerned sectoral officers for redress of the grievances at an earliest. The issues raised by the locals included maintenance of main road from Samba to Sumb, connecting left out villages under PMGSY roads, drinking water problems, replacement/relocation of Power supply poles & minimising spans, issuance/updating of Adhaar Cards, Ayushman Cards, B2V works bifurcation of Ration cards, forest clearance for various projects etc. Vice Chairman DDC Samba, Balwan Singh, presided over the public meeting and along with Chairman BDC Sumb, Ramesh Singh, distributed Domicile, EWS & other certificates among the applicants. Sectoral officers of various departments, Sarpanches, panches besides general public attended the weekly Block Divas.
