UDHAMPUR, JULY 26:-
Additional District Development Commissioner, Ashok Kumar today chaired a meeting of officers of different departments regarding launch of “Talent Hunt Programme” by the J&K Academy of Art , Culture and Languages.
Highlighting the importance of the event, the ADDC said that the main objective of organizing this programme is to explore the talent among the rural youths of the district. “Such programmes greatly help in enhancing the confidence level of youth besides giving them an opportunity to exhibit their skills in the fields of their interest and potential as well” he added.
He informed that the competition will be organized at Panchayat level in which 3 students from each Panchayat will be selected for participation in singing. The successful participants will participate in the zonal level competition and after that there would be district level competition in the age group of 14 to 18 years and 19 to 22 years category.
The ADDC informed that this programme is being organized by J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages with the active support of other line departments including Rural Development Department, Education, and Higher Education department of the district.
Among others, Principal Government Degree College Boys, Udhampur Dr Nutan Kumar Resutra , Principal GDC Ramnagar, District Information Officer, Er. Sajad Bashir Somberia, Chief Education Officer, Daljeet Singh, Coordinator J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages, Bhupinder Singh, ADIO NIC, Anish Sharma were present in the meeting.
