Adventure Holidays opens outdoor camping gear store

Adventure Holidays India today opened exclusive outdoor camping gear store at its Sarwal complex, here. The store, offering world famous adventure products of Coleman (US) and Lifestraw (Switzerland), was opened by former Minister and chairman Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan, Ch. Lal Singh.
Expert in Climbing equipments, Petzl from France and Rock Empire have also introduced their products in the store.
Soon after opening the store for visiting adventure lovers, the chief guest interacted with the technical teams from the company and stayed at the store for pretty long time with the sole purpose to gain knowledge about over 100 products displayed in the store.
Chairman the Citizens’ Cooperative Bank Ltd. (CCBL), Parveen Sharma and Everester, Ram Singh were guests of honour of the inaugural function.
The products range in the store included sleeping bags, tents, foldable chairs, beds and specially designed water bottles with in-built filter technology.
Among the distinguished gathering were general secretary, J&K Mountaineering Association, Ram Khajuria; Bharat Bhushan, Sumant Singh and Ravi Kant (both Directors CCBL) and Chairman of J&K’s first ICSE School (Sprawling Buds), Rahul Sharma.
Representing Great Rocksport Private Limited (GRPL) Asia, the National distributor and importer of world’s leading brands, Coleman and Lifestraw, Anurag Chaturvedi and Himanshu were there to explain each and every product to the visitors. “It was for the first time that products have been offered under one roof at Adventure Holidays India. Besides two leading brands, there are many more multi-national brands and technical outdoor gears (hiking and trekking) available in the store.
Managing Director Adventure Holidays India, Sumit Khajuria himself is a highly trained mountaineer and executive member of the Tawi Trekkers, J&K. “It was my endeavour to bring to Jammu the world class products.
The younger Jammu is adventure lover and we at Adventure Holidays have extended them the outdoor camping gears at their doorsteps.
Making a beginning with a store, we shall be making efforts to do more in the field of adventure thus helping the young men and women of the state to explore new possibilities,” said Sumit.
