n a proud , inspirational event on July 21, 2024, a young girl from Srinagar received the prestigious Human Rights Nobel Award 2024 for her outstanding achievements in her field.
The Award was presented by the Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha). Er. Gulam Ali Khatana and Waqaf Chairperson of J&K Darakshan Andrabi in a grand ceremony at Tagore Hall, Srinagar which was organised by the Global Human Rights Trust India.
Afreen Barkat, a 24-year-old girl from Alamgari Bazar in the Srinagar district, received this esteemed National Award in recognition of her exceptional achievements and steadfast dedication to the community.
Afreen Barkat received the Human Rights Nobel Award 2024 in recognition of her outstanding contributions in the fields of social, cultural, education, health, and youth development, among numerous other fields.
The award is known for recognizing and honoring people who demonstrate extraordinary talent, diligence, and a strong social conscience.
She is an inspiration to many others due to his commitment to personal development and his efforts in motivating and advising his peers.
Her impressive collection of awards, which includes the Global Mithila Award, Sarvashehtra Saman Puraskar (COVID-19 fighters), Leadership Award, and the National Youth Excellence Award, demonstrates her steadfast dedication to having a positive effect on society.
Afreen Barkat stated in an interview with the media that she would continue her work till her last breath to eradicate the negative and evil things within the society, and she serves for the nation and her people.
