n a proud , inspirational event on July 21, 2024, a young girl from Srinagar received the prestigious Human Rights Nobel Award 2024 for her outstanding achievements in her field.
The Award was presented by the Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha). Er. Gulam Ali Khatana and Waqaf Chairperson of J&K Darakshan Andrabi in a grand ceremony at Tagore Hall, Srinagar which was organised by the Global Human Rights Trust India.
Afreen Barkat, a 24-year-old girl from Alamgari Bazar in the Srinagar district, received this esteemed National Award in recognition of her exceptional achievements and steadfast dedication to the community.
Afreen Barkat received the Human Rights Nobel Award 2024 in recognition of her outstanding contributions in the fields of social, cultural, education, health, and youth development, among numerous other fields.
The award is known for recognizing and honoring people who demonstrate extraordinary talent, diligence, and a strong social conscience.
