On March 4th, it was officially announced that Sidharth Malhotra will be seen next in the Hindi remake of Tamil film ‘Thadam’. The film is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani and will mark the directorial debut of Vardhan Ketkar. After ‘Shershaah’, this film is going to be his second film, where he will be seen portraying the double role.In the remake, Mrunal Thakur will essay the role of a police officer and now according to the buzz, Miss India 2015 Aditi Arya is ready to star opposite Sidharth in the film. The plot of the film revolves around the murder of a young man and the story takes a confusion ensues when the key accused in the murder is found to have a look-alike.The untitled action thriller remake was supposed to hit the theatres on November 20th but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been slated for an unannounced future release. ‘Thadam’ is a Tamil film released in March 2019, which featured Arun Vijay, Tanya Hope, Smruthi Venkat, and Vidya Pradeep in the pivotal roles.On the work front, Sidharth Malhotra is currently working on Vishnuvardhan’s war film, ‘Shershaah’, which will feature him as Captain Vikram Batra of the Indian Army who was martyred during the 1999 Kargil War. The actor will be seen in a double role, playing both late Vikram Batra and his brother Vishal Batra.
