JAMMU, June 25:
The annual 55th Aghar Jitto Kesari Vishal Dangal, part of the three-day Aghar Jitto Mela, organised by Shri Baba Jitto Mandir Development Committee Aghar Jittoo in collaboration
with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, shall take place at Village Agar Jitto in Katra on June 29. This was decided in a meeting of the organising committee held under the chairmanship president, J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association and Joint Secretary of J&K State Sports Council, Shiv Kumar Sharma.
Others who attended the meeting were Mohan Lal Baba Ji, Sunil Kumar Kholi (president Dangal Committee), Jugal Kishore Sharma (Bunty), ex-Sarpanch Krishan Singh (Pappu), ZEO Gopal Krishan, Ramesh Kumar Sanmotra, Mangat Ram, Om Parkash Malkotra, Kriahan Chand Verma, Bansi Lal, Bodh Raj, Om Parkash, Bishan Dass, Ramesh Kumar, Ram, Pt. Rameshwar and Mohinder Kumar. Giving details of the meet, Shiv Kumar Sharma said that around 60 wrestlers from various parts of the State and outside shall compete for the top honours. The technical penal comprised Mohan Lal Pujari, Gopal Krishan, Om Parkash Malkotra, Romesh Kumar Sanmotra, Mohinder Kumar, Virender Sharma, Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri), Deepak Wazir, Dheeraj Kumar and Sunny Sharma (Airtel). The prize money for the main bout, second bout and third bout has been fixed at Rs 31,000, Rs. 21,000 and Rs. 15,000 respectively.
