Department of Animal Husbandry today organized an awareness roadshow in various areas of the district as a part of Foot and Mouth Disease Control Programme.
Field workers involved in FMD vaccination and sample collection programme along with progressive women dairy farmers participated in the show which passed through the main bazaar and culminated at District complex here.
Later, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Reasi Dr. Ramesh Razdan exhorted the field staff to gear up for eradicating foot-and-mouth disease in the district.
