AI, SSIA appreciates Dy CM for discusses cause of local industries with PM

In a joint meeting Sh. Rattan Dogra, President, Association of Industries (regd.), Gangyal, Sh. Jatinder Aul, President, Small Scale Industries Association, Digiana, Sh. Deepak Dhawan, President, Birpur Small Scale Industries Association and Sh. Rajinder Gupta, President, Laghu Udyog Bharti together with senior entrepreneurs have highly appreciated and welcomed the initiative taken by Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta to represent the cause of the local industrial sector in his first meeting with Prime Minister Narinder Modi to seek the personal attention and intervention of Govt. of India to grant special package of incentives aimed at creation of additional employment opportunities.
They further appreciated that Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister has taken up the responsibility of industrialization immediately after taking over the rein of Industries & Commerce Deptt. Entrepreneurs believe that extension of Govt. of India special fiscal package as applicable in North Eastern States shall provide fresh impetus to industrialization specially in Jammu region and State Govt. should utilize the benefits of the extended special fiscal package as applicable in North Eastern States to attract fresh investment in various new segments of industry with special focus of creation of additional avenues in development of vendor / ancillary units that may generate additional jobs for local populace to address the problem of large scale unemployment.
Associations have jointly invited the attention of the State Govt. towards the stagnation prevalent in entire industrial sector of the State to take appropriate effective steps to implement the assurances on top most priority by the State Govt. to restore and provide competitive edge of the local industrial units more so specifically amongst Micro / Small units mainly established by the local ‘sons of the soil’ entrepreneurs through favourable resolution of their pending issues.
They further emphasized that the State Govt. should acknowledge to appreciate the role of local Micro / Small sector as the single most employment provider besides State Govt. providing direct / indirect job opportunities to 3 lacs / 5 lacs and it is Micro/Small sector that exclusively and extensively provides jobs mostly to local populace.
