Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) J&K President Rafiq Malik today addressed a press conference over party’’s decision to contest J&K Assembly elections. Addressing media persons during media persons in Jammu today, Malik said that J&K Unit of LJP ( R ) has conveyed J&K Unit’s willingness and preparedness to contest J&K Assembly elections. He said in this regard National Senior Vice President, Arvind Kumar Bajpai is visiting J&K on 1st Sep 2024 to take decision on contesting Assembly elections in J&K after meeting with potential candidates of J&K Unit . He further said that the choice and selection of candidate and constituency will be decided in the meeting under his leadership. He expressed confidence that by 2nd of Sep 2024, everything will be clear regarding J&K Assembly elections.
Malik said that Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) is prominent member of NDA and J&K Unit will never ever do anything which hurts Party’s stand in NDA Alliance and will abide by any direction by Party President Chirag Paswan regarding J&K Assembly elections and will accordingly take further course of action in J&K UT. He conveyed the party’s unwavering support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives for Jammu and Kashmir. He appealed people to strengthen hands of PM Modi for progress and development of the country, including Jammu Kashmir. He emphasized the commitment of the LJP (R) and its members to stand firmly and extending their full support to PM Modi on his stand on different issues like return of Kashmiri Pandit Migrants to their homes in Valley, restoration of Statehood, employment to all and early Assembly elections in J&K.
