Recently, Alia discussed how she supports Shaheen in coping with depression, expressing her desire for her sister to feel comfortable talking to her.In a recent appearance on the chat show What Women Want, Kareena Kapoor Khan asked Alia how she has helped comfort Shaheen during her mental health journey.Alia noted that her approach to comforting her sister Shaheen has evolved over the years. The Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani star mentioned that she initially encouraged Shaheen to go out and participate in various activities. However, she eventually came to understand that Shaheen’s recovery from depression wasn’t a “quick fix.”Alia recalled that Shaheen was clinically diagnosed with depression and shared that the symptoms of her condition began to manifest at a young age.
