Alia Bhatt is on a promotional spree these days. She will next be seen in Junglee Pictures and Dharma productions’ ‘Raazi’ where she will be working with her real mother Soni Razdan for the first time in the film. Alia also posted an endearing picture of her beloved mom on Instagram today.
Sighting the resemblance between Alia and her mother, the ‘Raazi’ actress captioned the picture as, “If I were a twin.”
This mother-daughter duo truly looked elegant. While Alia is wearing a long yellow kurta with a netted dupatta on it, her mother chose to be in a darkly printed kurta with red dupatta. They both sported long ethnic earnings which completed their look.
Owing to Alia Bhatt’s hectic schedule, the actress has been juggling two projects currently. Her upcoming film ‘Raazi’ has already garnered immense accolades with its first looks and the promising trailer. Her two films which are currently being shot ‘Gully Boy’ and ‘Brahmastra’ too have grabbed headlines.

Alia Bhatt’s ‘Raazi’ which is directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions, narrates the story of an Indian woman who married a Pakistani man to spy for India. Alia Bhatt plays Sehmat and Vicky Kaushal is seen as Iqbal (Sehmat’s husband) in the film. Alia went through a lot of preparation in order to nail her role as Sehmat in ‘Raazi’. Once again Alia will be seen shedding her glamorous avatar in ‘Raazi’ and we date back in time, whenever Alia portrayed a non-glamorous role, the movie has captured a special place in the audience’s heart. Hope ‘Raazi’ does the same too.
The movie will hit the screens on May 11, 2018.
