Actor Alia Bhatt has reacted to Kangana Ranaut‘s sister Rangoli Chandel‘s statement about her father Mahesh Bhatt. The actor was present at an awards show when she was asked to comment on what Rangoli claimed about her father on Twitter. In a tweet recently, Kangana’s official spokesperson and sister claimed that Mahesh Bhatt was so furious with Kangana once that he took off his slipper and threw it at the actor during the premiere of Woh Lamhe (2006). When Alia was quizzed on the same, she said, “Mujhe Isme Padna Hi Nahi Hai.”
Alia talked to the media at the red carpet of the show and mentioned that one can’t stop anyone from saying what the person wants to say, but from her side, she’ll always display a sense of calm and be tight-lipped. She also said that her family is ’10 times more mature and stronger than her.’ Alia kept her stance of not stretching the matter and said she just wants to focus on polishing her craft and working harder each day.
Earlier, even Alia’s mother, Soni Razdan refused to comment on the statements made against her by Rangoli. She said that she doesn’t want to react to it and give attention to the entire issue.
Just a few days back, Kangana had called Alia’s performance in Gully Boy ‘mediocre.’ When she was informed by an entertainment portal that her performance in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has beaten Alia’s Gully Boy performance in a poll, Kangana said ‘don’t embarrass me.’ She said there was nothing to beat in Gully Boy‘s performance as Alia played the same old extrovert girl. To which Alia later reacted by saying that she would like to live with the memory of Kangana praising her highly for her performance in Raazi than commenting on what she thinks about her Gully Boy performance. The actor added that she would like to work harder next time to ensure that Kangana likes her performance.
