All India campaign to create awareness on “Swatch Bharat” to conclude on Dec 15

As a part of All India campaign to create awareness on “Swatch Bharat” a special drive for cleaning is being organized by various Govt. Departments under Swachhata Pakhwara from Dec 01 to Dec 15. 33 Bn CRPF, Gangyal, Jammu is also conducting a special drive from 01 Dec to 15 Dec 2018 to clean the Battalion Premises, Offices, Barraks, Family Lines etc. As a part of this campaign a tree planting program was conducted on 12/12/2018 by Jawans and families in the camp of 33 Bn. Shri A. Padma Kumar, Commandant along with other officers and Jawans of 33 Bn planted around 200 plants in the Campus. During the occasion Commandant of 33 Bn said that plants keep the environment green, clean, safe and healthy. He planted an Ashoka Tree and encouraged Jawans to plant more trees wherever there is place and take care of their plantations thereafter.
The aim of this program is to create awareness among the personnel about cleanliness and to protect environment by planting trees. Mean while a debate competition and Essay Competition also conducted on the subject “Swatch Bharat” for officers and jawans. Best Participants were rewarded by Commandant and also advised them to spread the message like we are keeping our houses clean, we have to keep our surroundings and public places also clean which is the responsibility of each and every Citizen.
