A meeting of the fellows of All India Professionals’ Congress (AIPC) was held today under the Presidentship of Y.V. Sharma-President J&K All India Professionals Congress. Prominent among the participants were Shri. Kuldip Pangotra, Advcate-Chairman Legal, Human Rights and RTI Department; Shri Shah Mohd. Chowdary-General Secretary PCC; Shri Teja Singh, Advocate; Shri Gaurv Chopra-Corporator, Dr Rama Kant Khajuria and Prominent Lawyers of Jammu Bar Association; Shri Surinder Khajuria-Advocate from Udhampur and Shri K. D. Singh- Advocate from Samba and Prominent Congressmen and Eminent Members of the Civil Society.
The participants discussed the strategy of supporting the Congress Candidates in fray through out the Country especially in the J&K State. It was unanimously decided that the fellows of the AIPC J&K would convass for both the candidates from Jammu viz Shri Raman Bhalla from Jammu-Poonch, Shri Vikrmaditya from Udhampur-Doda, Shri G.A.Mir from the Anantnag constituency and Shri Rigzin Spalbar from Ladakh Parliamentary Constituencies.
The fellows were all praise for the Manifesto released by the party three days ago. Quoting President AICC Shri Rahul Gandhi the fellows said that manifesto attended to the needs and aspirations of all sections of people in the Country including farmers, unemployed youth, women and weaker sections of the society. They specially appreciated the ‘NAYA’, guaranteeing Rs. 72,000/- thousand per year to at least 20% people at the lowest rung of National life. They were also appreciative of increasing the outlay for Education to 6% , more stress on Health Care and providing an allround vision for the total inclusive development of the Country.
Unanimous view was expressed that AIPC should keep a close liaison with the JKPCC as well as AICC to help the congress candidates whenever and wherever required. It was heartening to note that all the participants were ready to work whole heartedly for the Lok Sabha candidates of the Party and vowed to place themselves at the beck and call of the Party.
