All Jat Sabha, J&K, today held a grand felicitation ceremony in honor of Surinder Choudhary, Deputy Chief Minister and Vikram Randhawa, MLA Bahu Constituency, during an event at RS Pura. The program was organized by Manjit Singh, President of the Sabha and former Minister, and saw the participation of numerous esteemed leaders and community members.
The event was graced by distinguished guests including Ch Sukhnandan, former Minister, Ch Gharu Ram, former Minister, DDC Member Taranjit Singh Tony, Geetu Aulakh, former Corporator Gurmet Kaur, Amarnath Choudhary, former President, Dwarka Choudhary, Choudhary Jagar Singh, Choudhary Jeet Raj, Partap Choudhary, Rakesh Choudhary, Shamsher Choudhary, and Sonam Singh. Kamal Randhawa skillfully conducted the proceedings of the ceremony.
In his address, MLA Vikram Randhawa thanked the Jat community for their unwavering support during the recent Assembly elections in the Bhau constituency.
He acknowledged the pivotal role played by the community in his electoral success and assured the gathering of his continued commitment to their welfare.
Randhawa emphasized that he would work tirelessly to address the concerns and needs of the Jat community, particularly focusing on improving access to essential resources, bettering educational opportunities, and ensuring economic upliftment. He reiterated his determination to make their voices heard and work relentlessly towards their holistic development.
Manjit Singh, President of All India Jat Sabha, congratulated the honored guests and took the opportunity to highlight key issues faced by the community. He emphasized the need for a piece of land to build a Jat Bhawan and for providing accommodation to students from far-flung areas studying in Jammu. Additionally, he demanded the removal of income slab of Rs 8 lakh levy for the issuance of Resident Certificates, which he stated is a burden on the community.
The event also witnessed the participation of Rashpal Choudhary, panches, and sarpanches from various areas, all of whom expressed their support for the initiatives and demands put forth by the Sabha.
The function marked a significant moment in bringing attention to the welfare of the Jat community and underscored the commitment of all present to work together for its progress.
