A joint press conference of All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha (J&K) was held on Monday under the chairmanship of Chaman Lal Floria, President of Shiromani Sant Kabir Trust, Kabir Nagar, Kotli Gala Bana, R.S. Pura.
The Chairman of Sant Kabir Trust extended a warm welcome to Shamsher Chand (President, All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha, J&K), J.L. Bhagat (Chairman), and Janak Raj (General Secretary).
During the press conference, the joint committee earnestly appealed to the Megh Biradari of the state to unite and strengthen the Sabha for giving strength and the welfare of the community.
The members emphasized the importance of working tirelessly for the upliftment of the community, setting aside personal conflicts.
Darshan Kumar urged community-elected representatives, government employees, social workers, statesmen, and intellectuals to support the marginalized and oppressed sections of society. He stressed that intellectuals should give back to the community.
Chaman Lal Floria, Chairman of SSKT Kotli Gala Bana, expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the formation of a dedicated, hardworking, and visionary committee under the leadership of J.L. Bhagat and Shamsher Chand.
Master Balak Ram, President, extended a warm welcome to All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha (J&K).
Shamsher Chand, President, thanked all participants from various villages, towns, and Jammu city for attending the meeting.
In his address, he assured the Megh community of his commitment to uniting and strengthening the community. He pledged to leave no stone unturned in raising their voice and advocating for their rights. He also expressed his gratitude to the Shiromani Sant Kabir Trust, Kabir Nagar, Kotli Gala Bana, R.S. Pura for their warm reception.
Surinder Bhagat, General Secretary, emphasized the need for unity among the Megh community and urged everyone to actively participate in initiatives aimed at their upliftment. He stated that collective efforts were necessary to bring meaningful change and ensure the community’s development and recognition in all spheres of society.
Dignitaries present at the press conference included Jagga Ram Bhagat (Ex. Sarpanch), Sat Paul, Tilak Raj Bhagat (Ex. Sarpanch), Jeet Raj, Janak Raj (Ex. Sarpanch) and J.L. Bhagat.
