Well-known social worker and firebrand leader Amit Kapoor, who is contesting elections as an independent candidate from Jammu North Assembly constituency, today visited various areas of Jammu North Assembly constituency and held election meetings there and requested people to support him.
During this, people also promised to give full support to Amit Kapoor. Amit Kapoor today visited Kot Bhalwal, Patauli and Paloura areas and addressed election meetings there. A large number of women and youth and other people participated in these meetings. During this, people welcomed Amit Kapoor by garlanding him. During this, various speakers expressed their views and said that Jammu North Assembly needs a young and firebrand leader like Amit Kapoor who represents them in the Assembly and raises their issues in the Assembly effectively.
He said that Amit Kapoor has been raising his voice for the last several years on issues like smart meters and property tax, curbing private school mafia and other issues and has continuously struggled for this by protesting on the streets. But as far as other opposition leaders are concerned, they have remained silent on these issues. He said that therefore people should give Amit Kapoor a chance to represent them by making him victorious with a huge margin in the assembly elections from Jammu North Assembly constituency. Along with this, he also told the people not to fall into the trap of outside candidates because once they win, it will be difficult to find them and at that time people will have no other option but to repent. He appealed to the people to vote wisely in this election and completely reject the outside candidates and vote for Amit Kapoor and make him victorious.
At the same time, Amit Kapoor assured the people that he will leave no stone unturned to solve their issues. He said that if he can fight for them without any power, then after getting the power, he will be able to fight for them effectively and will be able to get their issues solved.
Therefore, he asked the people to give him a chance to serve by making him Vijayji. Let us tell you that Amit Kapoor’s entry into the electoral fray as an independent candidate from Jammu North has given sleepless nights to the candidates of opposition parties as well as those contesting elections from outside areas.
