Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer Badla continues to be the first choice for the moviegoers at the box office. The crime-thriller is garnering great footfalls at ticket windows and has now crossed the Rs 60 crore mark at the ticket windows. The film has also done phenomenal business in the international markets. Badla will enter the Rs 100 crore club today at the global box office, which thus make it a universal hit. Since Kesari is arriving tomorrow, it will be interesting to see how Badla performs in its third week at the domestic market. The revenge thriller marked the reunion of Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu after 2016’s courtroom drama Pink, which was a huge box office hit. Badla is directed by Sujoy Ghosh, who previously helmed films like Kahaani franchise and Aladdin. It is produced under the banners of Azure Entertainment and Red Chillies Entertainment and also stars Amrita Singh and Manav Kaul in key roles. Talking about the reviews, our editor-in-chief, Tushar Joshi gave the film 3.5 stars by praising the lead starcast and wrote, “Amitabh Bachchan’s Badal act is another feather in his eclectic cap.
