In a heartwarming initiative to provide respite from the intense summer heat, the Anti Crime NGO, under the supervision of its Chairman Sham Lal Gupta, organized a “Chabeel” (sweet water distribution drive) for the public. The event was aimed at offering relief to commuters, daily wage workers, and local residents suffering from the scorching temperatures that have gripped the region over the past few weeks.
The Chabeel was organized at a prominent location where volunteers actively served chilled sweet water to hundreds of people throughout the day. The event not only provided physical relief from the heat but also spread the message of compassion, community service, and human kindness — values that the Anti Crime NGO has been championing consistently. Ex-Corporator Sahil Gupta graced the occasion with his presence and extended his wholehearted support to the noble cause. He praised the efforts of the NGO and emphasized the importance of such community-driven initiatives, especially during challenging weather conditions. Speaking on the occasion, Sahil Gupta stated that such acts of kindness not only help individuals physically but also uplift the community spirit, encouraging others to come forward and contribute to society.
Several active members of the NGO, including Rohit Kumar, Bunty Kumar, Jagjeet Kumar, and Monu Kumar, participated enthusiastically in the event. They ensured the smooth distribution of sweet water to all passersby, maintaining hygiene and order throughout the drive. Their dedication and hard work were clearly visible, as they worked tirelessly under the blazing sun to make the event successful.
Chairman Sham Lal Gupta expressed gratitude to all the volunteers and supporters for making the initiative impactful. He reiterated the NGO’s commitment to serving society not just through its anti-crime awareness programs but also through humanitarian activities that address immediate community needs.
The event concluded on a positive note, with smiles and gratitude from the people who received the service. The Anti Crime NGO’s efforts once again highlighted the crucial role that non-governmental organizations play in building a compassionate and resilient society.
