Anushka Shetty, who is busy doing the multi-lingual film Nishabdam, was also supposed to do Mani Ratnam’s film, Ponniyin Selvan. But the actress shocked everyone recently by walking out of the ace filmmaker’s project for reasons that are still unclear. Interestingly, while every actor dreams of working with Mani Ratnam, Anushka has done just the opposite!Insiders believe that Anushka chose to exit the film because of its producer, who was accused of misbehavior by popular singer Chinmayi Sripada. Yet anothersource says that the actress was asked to allot bulk dates for the film which she couldn’t do. Meanwhile, as always, Anushka has chosen to stay mum on the issue.
