Apni Party has intensified its election campaign in support of Party candidate, Zafar Iqbal Manhas contesting from Rajouri – Anantnag Parliamentary seat.
As a part of ongoing public outreach program, the Party leaders held a meeting at Sehri Khawaja in Surankote, Poonch.
Addressing the public meeting, the Party’s contesting candidate, Zafar Iqbal Manhas expressed his gratitude towards the people for extending him support in the scheduled elections for the parliamentary seat.
In his speech, Manhas expressed his commitment towards the people of Pir Panjal region that he would leave no stone unturned to get a separate Parliamentary seat for the region, and Hill Development Council on the pattern of Ladakh.
He said that the region remained neglected regarding its development, and tourism sector even as it has huge potential of tourism and attracting tourists from across the world.
“The Apni Party has prepared a road map for the infrastructural development in Pir Panjal that needs special attention,” said the contesting candidate of the Party, Zafar Iqbal Manhas.
He said that if he gets elected to the Lok Sabha, the Party will get the detained released from the custody.
“We want to give an opportunity to the detained youth to return to mainstream/normal life after their release from custody,” he added.
He said that the Party would also focus on preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Poonch and Rajouri Districts.
Meanwhile, Provincial President of Jammu, S. Manjit Singh also addressed the meeting in support of the Party candidate, Zafar Iqbal Manhas.
S. Manjit Singh said that if the Party candidate is elected to the Parliament, they will bring prosperity in the Region with its initiative towards equitable development and generating employment with the boosting of the tourism sector.
Additional General Secretary of the Party, Arun Kumar Chibber, and SC Wing State President, Bodh Raj Bhagat also addressed the public meeting.
Meanwhile, several other meetings were also addressed by the Party candidate, and other leaders of the Party in the ongoing election campaign across the region.
