Apple Kids International Pre-School at Bantalab, here celebrated ‘Baisakhi’ with fervor and enthusiasm.
The school wore a festive look with decorative pieces depicting the harvest season and heritage of Punjab.
The tiny toddlers of the school were dressed up in colorful typical Punjabi attire. On the occasion young children presented various performances on different Punjabi songs. With the speech in the morning assembly to the dance party by tiny tots, the entire day was dedicated to the celebrations. Students were told about the importance of Baisakhi festival and they also participated in colouring and different fun filled activities based on the theme ‘Baisakhi festival’.
The children had a lot of fun and enjoyed dancing with their teachers and friends. The festival of harvest was celebrated in order to acquaint the students with Punjabi culture and tradition.
Principal of the school, Arti Sharma threw a limelight on the relevance of this day. She also motivated the students to enrich their rich cultural heritage by imbibing moral values.
