As part of the Skill India Initiative, Basic Computer Course for girl students of Mendhar town is being conducted from 01 – 30 Jun 2018 at ITI, Mendhar in collaboration with the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Jammu & Kashmir with an aim towards women empowerment.
The students will be educated about basic computer knowledge to include OS, Windows, MS Office, Internet etc. It is also visualised that in the long run, the skilled students of the state will further contribute towards the ‘Digital India’ initiative of the Govt of India. The course would enhance the technical qualification of these girls and increase their chances of getting a job in Govt and Private sector.
Army has been conducting series of skill development courses in collaboration with recognised institutes which will result in enhancing the skill based employment generation for the youth. Such initiatives will usher an environment of peace, stability and prosperity in the State of J&K.
