Army is organising a ‘T-20 Cricket Tournament for Youth at GDC, Bhadarwah from 09 to 21 Oct 2018.
Keeping in view the popularity of cricket, interest among the youth in the area, and to encourage sports activities the competition is being held.
A total of 16 teams from Doda district are participating in the tournament. The matches will played as per the existing rules.
Today’s match was played between Atkhar Public School and Islamia Bhadarwah who won the match by 07 runs by duck lewis method.
A large number of students, youth and local people of Bhadarwah and nearby villages were present to witness the match.
Sportsmen spirit and passion for the sports was overwhelmingly displayed by the youth during the tournament. The youth and the locals appreciated the efforts of the Army in organizing the event.
