In order to update the teachers with modern teaching methodology and communication skills, Army commenced a two-day training workshop at Army Goodwill School (AGS), Potha in Poonch district from 22 – 23 May 2018.
20 Teachers from Army Goodwill School, Potha, Army Goodwill School Saujiyan and BGDA, Salotri including the Principal of Army Goodwill School, Potha attended the workshop. The course is being conducted under the aegis of Army by two instructors from Bharti Foundation, an NGO working in the field of education. The need for the course was felt to introduce the teachers of Army Goodwill Schools, in Poonch district to technology and perceptive advances taking place in the field of education thereby acquainting them with modern techniques of teaching.
The school was established in 2003 and 15 years down the line the school has progressed phenomenally and is one of the best school in Poonch district. The course will enable the teachers to impart quality teaching to the students and the step has been well appreciated.
