In an endeavour to motivate the students of rural areas, build their confidence and facilitate their talent, the Indian Army organised a Quiz Competition for School students on ‘General Awareness/General Knowledge’ at Agsi.
A total of 53 students participated with lot of vigor, fervor and enthusiasm. The aim of this competition was to use this platform to motivate and improve self-confidence in students of this far flung region.
It was heartening to see number of students including girls coming forward to showcase their talent.
The event was followed by prize distribution for those securing top three positions and consolation prizes for all enthusiastic participants to boost their morale and keep up their indomitable spirit.
The event proved to be an another milestone in fostering bond of friendship between the local populace and the men in uniform. It was a small step towards identifying and showcasing the immense and unexplored talent of students of the region.
