Terming artists as messanger of peace and made people happy not spread hatred in society, Jammu based model turned actress Arjumman Mughal said that artists made people happy by their performances and made people relaxed and tension free. Arjumman Mughal, is here to meet his family members at Nowshera after long gap. She also shared his future plans about film industry and upcoming movies.
While interacting with media persons at Jammu, Arjumman Mughal said being a native of Nowshera, near Line of Control (Lamberi Dera), she has witnessed the tension along LoC and miseries of people. From Nowshehra to Mumbai was not an easy job but hardwork and commitment towards profession provided opportunity initially in modeling field and later in film line.
Recalling his childhood, Mughal said disclosed that after completing schooling in Nowshera she moved to Delhi and after Mumbai to pursue a modeling career and also completed her Graduation at Mumbai. Her father, Mohd Isahaq Mughal, is an ex army officer, while her mother Asiya Mughal, is a home maker. At the age of 14, started my career into modeling representing various ad films. After getting training from Mr Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepare’s school, made my acting debut with Hasnain Hyderabadwala’s bollywood film Ya Rab in 2014.
The film was been highly praised for its sheer audacity to show how the religion of Islam has been used by some unscrupulous elements, as a tool to propagate violence and terrorism. Inspite of moderate success at the box-office, the film received rave reviews for focusing on a very delicate issue about a few self-proclaimed Maulanas (Islamic preachers) misinterpreting The Quran and its real meaning.
The film almost echoed the words US President Barack Obama said last month: “We are not at war with Islam. We are at war with people who have perverted Islam.”
Arjumman disclosed that she also did theatre with Nadira Babbar’s Ekjut and performed in plays like Hayvadan, with Anupam Kher. Adhey Adhurey and Ashad Ka Ek Din. She took professional dance training from Habiba Dance classes to nurish her film career.
While pursuing her schooling, she was selected as child model for clothing brand and then she did over 2099 ads followed with multiple theater acts at teen level. For which she got International Women achievement award as most popular model.
