Under the overall supervision of DC Kishtwar Rajesh Kumar Shavan JKAS & following the directions of Transport Commissioner J&K Vishesh Paul Mahajan JKAS,Motor Vehicles Department Kishtwar is acting tough against traffic violators.Today Assistant Regional Transport Officer Kishtwar,Tasleem Wani JKAS has suspended Route Permits of 03 vehicles for a period of 03 months under section 86(1) of Motor vehicles Act 1988,Suspended 11 Driving Licenses under section 19(1) (d) & (f) of the Motor Vehicles Act 1988 and Blacklisted 20 Vehicles,for various traffic violations under Motor Vehicle Act,especially for being habitual traffic offender & for serious traffic violations.
The permit of Vehicles bearing registration No JK17-7454,Jk17-1769,JK17A-1020have been suspended for 3 months,and hereby debarred from plying during the suspension period,communiqué of ARTO stated.ARTO Kishtwar stated that these Drivers have been committing traffic violations,which is unacceptable & a threat to passengers safety.So this operation should serve as a wake-up call for them as well as to all such violators,to adhere to the rules and regulations outlined in the Motor Vehicle Act.ARTO Kishtwar further said that the Motor Vehicles Department Kishtwar,is making every efforts to ensure passengers safety,transport regulations & preventions of road accidents in District Kishtwar.
