Continuing the spirit of service and social responsibility, MLA Arvind Gupta today donated blood at a blood donation camp organized by BJP at Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu as part of Seva Pakhwada, marking the birthday celebrations of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from party workers, students, youth volunteers, and members of the general public who came forward to donate blood. Doctors and paramedical staff from GMC Jammu facilitated the smooth conduct of the camp, ensuring proper medical care and arrangements for all donors. Speaking on the occasion, MLA Arvind Gupta said that the initiative was a humble tribute to Prime Minister Modi, whose life and work have been an inspiration for millions.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always emphasized service to humanity as the highest form of devotion. Organizing this blood donation camp on his birthday is our way of contributing to society and carrying forward his vision of ‘Seva hi Sangathan’,” Gupta remarked.
He further added that blood donation is a noble act that saves lives and reflects the values of compassion and selflessness.
“I am thankful to all the volunteers who came forward today. Each unit of blood donated is a gift of life for someone in need. This is true nation-building in action,” he said.
The MLA also highlighted the importance of Seva Pakhwada, which is being observed across the country with various activities such as health check-up camps, cleanliness drives, plantation campaigns, and awareness programs.
He reiterated that such initiatives strengthen the bond between citizens and inspire collective responsibility for society’s well-being.
The camp concluded with participants pledging to continue engaging in social service activities in the future. The event not only honored Prime Minister Modi’s birthday but also showcased the spirit of community service and humanitarian values.
