In a significant move to bolster the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) organizational framework, MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta today spearheaded the Sangathan Parv Sadasyata Abhiyan at Bakshi Nagar here today. The membership drive aims to strengthen the party’s grassroots network and engage with the local community, reflecting BJP’s commitment to inclusive and participative politics.
The event witnessed active participation of prominent leaders, including District President Parmodh Kapahi, Mandal President Atul Bakshi, and General Secretary of Rehari Bakshi Nagar Mandal Vikas Bali. A dedicated team of BJP Karyakartas, including Hardev Singh, Indresh Gupta, Sonu Manhas, Ajay Anand, Anil Angral, Bawa Kumar and Gagan Kumar played a pivotal role in organizing the drive.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Arvind Gupta highlighted the importance of connecting with every supporter of the BJP to ensure the party remains the voice of the people. “The BJP has emerged as the single largest party in the recently conducted Assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir. Through this membership drive, we are making every possible effort to reach out to our supporters and strengthen our bond with them,” he said.
The senior BJP leader further emphasized the ambitious target of enrolling 20 lakh new members in Jammu and Kashmir under the ‘Sangathan Parv Sadasyata Abhiyan.’ “Our goal is to make BJP not just a political party but a people’s movement.
By engaging with new voters and reinforcing our connection with existing supporters, we aim to create a robust organizational structure that reflects the aspirations of the people,” he added. The campaign also included door-to-door outreach to educate citizens about BJP’s policies and programs, emphasizing the transformational changes brought about under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
The event concluded with a pledge by all party workers to work tirelessly towards realizing the vision of a strong and united BJP in Jammu and Kashmir.
