Aug 5th will be celebrated like a festival across the J&K, stated Aseem Gupta, BJP Vice-President Aseem Gupta, while the party also passionately appealed religious, social, industries & traders associations and all the other organizations of Jammu & Kashmir to celebrate the August 5th 2020 in every nook and corner of the region. BJP Vice-President Aseem Gupta was also accompanied by Mayor (JMC) ChanderMohan Gupta and Incharge Social & Religious Organizations Narain Singh, while addressing the Press Conference at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
Aseem Gupta, while addressing the media persons stated that the decision for abrogation of Articles 370 and 35 (a) was done as a result of history filled with long struggle and lots of sacrifices. He said that the landmark and historic decision that has been done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has undone a great injustice that was done to the residents of J&K 70 years back.
Aseem stated that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee’s dream of “1 Pradha, 1 Nishan, 1 Samvidhan” was achieved on Aug. 5th 2019 which will be celebrated across the J&K like a festival. He appealed all the sections like PoJK, West Pakistan refugees, Balmikis, Gorkhas, Gujjars, industrialists, traders, daughters of J&K and all common masses to celebrate the day by hoisting “Tiranga” from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at all the Chowks, Rotaries, “shaheedi Samaraks”, their roof tops and every other place.
Aseem also requested all the residents of J&K to lighten Diyas on every prominent place. He said that on this occasion we must also use “Swadeshi Diyas” instead of Chinese lights. He disclosed that the party will also handover letter on the behalf of BJP President Ravinder Raina to all the organizations along with the National Flag on the occasion.
