Dhanvantri Library, University of Jammu in collaboration with Informatics organised a user Awareness cum Training Session on J-Gate Database in the Seminar Hall of Statistics Department, University of Jammu.
Prof. Rahul Gupta, I/C Librarian welcomed the participants. In his welcome address he stressed upon the need of such training programs in order to create awareness among the library professionals and scholars regarding the facilities that are available in the central library of the University of Jammu.
Jaipal Singh Sisodia and Sh Ashish Bhat from informatics were the resource persons. In the training session they discussed the features and functionalities of J-Gate database and provided the tips and tricks for improving the research skills of the researchers regarding J-Gate Database. The training session covered the scholar as well as administrative modules of the product.
Around 100 library professionals along with scholars of the University attended the program. The program was ably conducted by Sh. Vikram Singh Sahi.
