Ayushman Bharat Scheme was launched in Ward no.5 today by the Jammu East former MLA Rajesh Gupta and Corporator Gopal Gupta.
On the ocassion Ayushman Bharat cards were distributed among the eligible families of the ward. Ayushman Bharat Scheme envisages medical insurance to the tune of rupees 5 lakhs to the entire family of the insured householder.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said in the present times health Care is one of the most critical requirements of a family and Ayushman Bharat is a revolutionary scheme that would ensure free hospital treatment to the insurer and his family up to rupees 5 lakhs.Rajesh Gupta added that in the days to come we will be taking this scheme to all the eligible families in Jammu East.
The launch of this scheme shows the commitment of the Modi government towards the welfare of the weaker sections of the society. Ayushman Bharat Scheme when completed would cover almost half of the population of the country and would easily be the largest welfare scheme in the whole of world.
Corporator Gopal while speaking on the occasion said that we’ll ensure the covering of each and every eligible family in the ward and ensure the successful role out of the landmark scheme.
