Bali appeals Guv to pay attention towards SPOs, frame regularization policy

Sewa Singh Bali, State General Secretary, Panthers Trade Union (PTU), J&K, urge to the Hon’ble Governor of J&K for immediately frame a regularization policy of SPOs.
Bali said that JKNPP Trade Union had submitted a memorandum to PMO and Home Minister of India, Shri Rajnath Singh regarding the salaries amenities and regularization policy of SPOs.
Bali added that PMO & Home Minister took concerned over the submitted by JKNPP directed to the Chief Secretary of JK vide No. PMOPG/D/2018/0426242 dated 19-11-2018.
Bali said that Chief Secretary directed to the Principal Secretary Home Department J&K OM NO. PS/CS/10/2018/251 – C dated 16.05.2018 for release of the funds for distribution of salaries in favour of SPOs and regularization of service.
After this J&K Govt. increased the salary of SPOs from 6000 from these having served for a period of 5 years, 9000 for those who served for a period of 15 years and those having served above 15 years will be paid 12000.
Bali alleged that this a crucial joke with the SPOs on the name of increase salary which is totally injustice with the SPOs and Government trying to play with the future of young & educated SPOs.
Bali briefed the media persons today Principal Secretary Home J&K directed to the DGP, J&K letter NO. Home/PB-III/Misc-02/2019 regarding the regularization the policy of SPOs. Bali appealed to the Governor of J&K and DGP pay urgent attention towards the young & educated youth who are highly qualified should be given a special attention so that each SPO working in Police Department shall get justice.
Mr. Partap Singh Jamwal, Anil Rakwal & Abdul Ahad Wani were also present in the press conference.
